Like the user not the new system – why?  There you find the same information you see you had in the old system – but in a new format.

Like many companies spent a few adding then more millions of dollars on a new ERP system, for a BI system, then added balanced gets score cards and very pretty dashboard, then the CEO reports from an Excel spreadsheet.  Always question me, why?  There are many reasons; but find a common we is that if the new shiny ERP system implemented was no one cleaned the data from the old systems before you loaded into the new system.

As a result all reports, the incorrect information previously – still wrong information – but you had to see really pretty:

Why is this happening?  Often time it, since the data stream for the migration/conversion of the ERP project is not the attention that it deserves.  It remained for the company you know, load the old story – here is that we need, provide the data in this format – the format, and we will be there for you – but the responsibility for the quality of the data is with you.

It must be in this way.  There are tools and processes available to minimize structure of the data stream for the migration of ERP implementation project organisations with which the risk of bad data in the new ERP system.  These methods have been developed based on the experience of professionals who have done data migrations for many years and have used, to ensure that the methodology is practical and data into the new ERP system proven to business ready loaded.
